Inspector   Generalof   Police, Jammu Zone Jammu Mr. MukeshSingh –IPS chairs a meeting of Jammu based Police officers at Police ControlRoom, Jammu here today in order to review the law & order and securityscenario of Jammu division in general and arrangement for Janamashtami inparticular.

DIG Jammu Mr. Vivek Gupta –IPS, briefed the IGP aboutvarious arrangements being made by Jammu Police to strengthen the law &Order and security grid in the backdrop of forthcoming Janamashtamifestival/Shoba-Yatra. He said that all necessary arrangements have been madeand the concerned field Officers and Units stand thoroughly briefed andsensitized. 

Mr Singh appreciated the efforts made by police inmaintenance of Law & order in Jammu Division. He also advised theparticipants to put in their best for ensuring adequate security and law andorder arrangements on the eve of Shoba –Yatra/ Janashtami.    The meeting was attended by; DIG JK RangeShri Vivek Gupta -IPS, SSP Jammu Sh. Tejinder Singh-IPS, SSP PCR Jammu ShriKulbir Singh, S.O to IGP Jammu Zone, Shri Rajesh Sharma and SSP APCR Jammu ShriRamesh Kotwal besides territorial SsP of Jammu District and all SDPO’s.
